Delight is always part of teaching for me,, but this series began after a lamp building class in one of my sessions and took off from there. All were hand built with a dark, groggy stoneware that looks amazing when fired at the highest temperature without any glaze. The lamps were painted inside with white porcelain slip to increase the brightness and reflection of the bulb within.. Other works of delight from this clay body are included.
