Forms for this series emerged from the push and pull of my hands working and pinching a single hunk of clay. They are unglazed (thin-skinned); rather painted with a fine clay slip (terra sigillata) and then smoke-fired to suggest weathering. They are meditations on womanhood, aging and what remains. Many can be positioned in multiple ways.
